today is my 2nd last day at foodfare again.. :[
its supposed to be a six wk contract,
in which i will go back every wed for a period of six wks..
but becos i'm having 1 wk break this wk,
i pushed everything forward,
so counting here and there, i onli need to work till tis thur..
but becos i managed to fin my job earlier,
and chris asked me if i still wanted to report to work tmr,
in which i said no,
so today was my last day..
people at my area turned up for work today,
so in the end i dun have any computer to use..
initially chris arranged for me to use the com at the conference rm,
but becos he saw tt the IT dept was empty,
he jus went in and sat at the desk..
after tt he called the IT ppl and asked them if can lend me use the com..
so pai sei lah..
do work oso do until so stressed..
so i ended up using tom's com..
when he came, i was so pai sei lah...
becos i was occupying his seat, he has no choice but to wander here and there...
in the end i rushed my work and promised him to return him his seat before lunch,
and I DID... ;]
but lunch was rather pathetic today...
joe has to do answer phone calls today so he didnt went out for lunch with us...
joe was always the one to call me to go for lunch de,
but he didnt do it today cos he went out to buy food,
so i didnt manage to join the group for lunch..
by the time i reached the carpark, i saw them boarding the bus le
and i'm too lazy to run so i ended up lunching alone..
but they called joe to tell me to meet them at the old place,
which i eventually didnt cos i wanted to lunch alone somehow..
no appetite to eat lunch..
i saw him at the opposite bus stop carrying packets of food back to the office..
den he walked towards me and tell me tt they are waiting for me at marsiling..
but i told him tt i will be going to CWP and wants him to tell them tt i will nt be joinin them..
he oso asked if i'm meeting my friends...
at tt instant, he feels jus like a big bro to me..
i have younger sisters, younger bro but no elder sis or elder bro...
so i sort of treated joe and glynn as elder bros..
and jasmine and alice tan as elder sisters...
haha..
den chris will be my "father"..
all the people at foodfare are so NICE lah..
even those aunties at the bakery are so nice..
they realised tt i didnt come for work for some time and wonder where i was...
and they were shocked to see me...
but i was happy to see them...
but didnt get to see the bakery guy at all..
guess he mus be schooling too..
haha..
even the ppl at finance know tt i return to sch..
i realised tt alot of ppl know tt i didnt work in foodfare for quite some time,
although i didnt know them well..
at foodfare i learnt tt simply a smile, you can make friends..
u might nt have talked to this person before or perhaps you are nt close to this person,
but jus a smile, you will feel happier,
at least knowing tt the person acknowledges your presence..
finished my work within the first half of the day,
so for the second half of the day, i was helping joe for bout 1 hr..
helpin him to do conversions..
becos he was answerin calls, i get to use his computer..
haha..
found a few errors in there and as usual when i asked him if need to do conversions for instant noodles,
he was oso nt sure..
but in the end still converted cos the last time i did it, it was being converted..
after finishing my work, went to my fave place...
nt the toilet lah of cos..
haha..
went to the store...
din and glynn were in there..
look messier than before..
and they even put up a mini signboard
"Joe and Din Supermarket. No selling of cigarettes"..
haha..
den after tt oso did some packing..
glynn was writing a list of items tt the store was lackin,
so din was askin him to write mock curry chix..
glynn was trying to be funny, so asked din if it was curry chix or chix curry..
haha...
cos according to glynn, 1 of them was supposed to be in mock meat while the other was in real chix meat..
in the end din was so fed up lah...
haha..
den all of us were laughing and laughing...
and there was once where they "tricked" din to take 20 packets of rice,
when they onli needed 8 packets..
both joe and glynn were tellin din to take the rice,
but none of them went to help him..
in the end they didnt even take the 8 packets of rice...
and the ship in charge even called to ask bout the rice..
haha..
oso heard some bad stories regarding chris frm glynn,
and some ridiculous stories...
there was once rumly ordered 20 million loaves of bread...
in the end, chris and nic "jumped" lah..
they even sarcastically said tt gardenia would have to close down all its factories jus to supply bread to us..
20 million bread is more than enuf to support the whole s'pore..
every person can take 5 loaves of bread..
but luckily his numbers mistake are big enough..
otherwise they might realli send the bread over..
den rumly oso ordered 20,000kg of onions,
but luckily supplier didnt send it over..
cos they might nt even have tt much onions to supply..
so in the end rumly was "bandished" frm entering HQ..
saw uncle lim at the store today..
den when he saw me,
he told the QA guy at the store tt " caren lai le"..
haha..
i got so da mian zi ah?
but nonetheless veri happy to see them...
after finished "eating snake", went back to joe's desk le..
chris even asked me where i went and he was shocked to hear tt i went to the store..
haha..
after tt he asked me to do some timetable stuff for him..
he wanted me to drag the lesson plan for 6 mths..
already did 1 but didnt manage to drag it for 6 mths,
in the end did some real ridiculous stuff...
he knows wat to do lah but didnt manage to get past himself,
so asked me to do it..
in the end the timetable was so ridiculous lah...
they can learn cookin vegetables for 5 days a wk, from 0800 to 1800...
wat rubbish rite..
luckily i didnt learn cookin from them sia..
otherwise will die sia..
den chris drove me home today,
together with tony...
miracle tt tony went off at 1730 sharp sia..
frm my 1st day till now, today was the onli day tt tony knocked off sharp..
haha..
den as usual, chris thanked me for help
and tony even said need to treat me again..
and guess wat, i VIOLENTLY object..
haha..
guess i will nt step into foodfare again.. ;]
