today is my 2nd last day at foodfare again.. :[
its supposed to be a six wk contract,
in which i will go back every wed for a period of six wks..
but becos i'm having 1 wk break this wk,
i pushed everything forward,
so counting here and there, i onli need to work till tis thur..
but becos i managed to fin my job earlier,
and chris asked me if i still wanted to report to work tmr,
in which i said no,
so today was my last day..

people at my area turned up for work today,
so in the end i dun have any computer to use..
initially chris arranged for me to use the com at the conference rm,
but becos he saw tt the IT dept was empty,
he jus went in and sat at the desk..
after tt he called the IT ppl and asked them if can lend me use the com..
so pai sei lah..
do work oso do until so stressed..
so i ended up using tom's com..
when he came, i was so pai sei lah...
becos i was occupying his seat, he has no choice but to wander here and there...
in the end i rushed my work and promised him to return him his seat before lunch,
and I DID... ;]

but lunch was rather pathetic today...
joe has to do answer phone calls today so he didnt went out for lunch with us...
joe was always the one to call me to go for lunch de,
but he didnt do it today cos he went out to buy food,
so i didnt manage to join the group for lunch..
by the time i reached the carpark, i saw them boarding the bus le
and i'm too lazy to run so i ended up lunching alone..
but they called joe to tell me to meet them at the old place,
which i eventually didnt cos i wanted to lunch alone somehow..
no appetite to eat lunch..
i saw him at the opposite bus stop carrying packets of food back to the office..
den he walked towards me and tell me tt they are waiting for me at marsiling..
but i told him tt i will be going to CWP and wants him to tell them tt i will nt be joinin them..
he oso asked if i'm meeting my friends...
at tt instant, he feels jus like a big bro to me..
i have younger sisters, younger bro but no elder sis or elder bro...
so i sort of treated joe and glynn as elder bros..
and jasmine and alice tan as elder sisters...
haha..
den chris will be my "father"..
all the people at foodfare are so NICE lah..
even those aunties at the bakery are so nice..
they realised tt i didnt come for work for some time and wonder where i was...
and they were shocked to see me...
but i was happy to see them...
but didnt get to see the bakery guy at all..
guess he mus be schooling too..
haha..
even the ppl at finance know tt i return to sch..

i realised tt alot of ppl know tt i didnt work in foodfare for quite some time,
although i didnt know them well..
at foodfare i learnt tt simply a smile, you can make friends..
u might nt have talked to this person before or perhaps you are nt close to this person,
but jus a smile, you will feel happier,
at least knowing tt the person acknowledges your presence..

finished my work within the first half of the day,
so for the second half of the day, i was helping joe for bout 1 hr..
helpin him to do conversions..
becos he was answerin calls, i get to use his computer..
haha..
found a few errors in there and as usual when i asked him if need to do conversions for instant noodles,
he was oso nt sure..
but in the end still converted cos the last time i did it, it was being converted..
after finishing my work, went to my fave place...
nt the toilet lah of cos..
haha..
went to the store...
din and glynn were in there..
look messier than before..
and they even put up a mini signboard
"Joe and Din Supermarket. No selling of cigarettes"..
haha..
den after tt oso did some packing..
glynn was writing a list of items tt the store was lackin,
so din was askin him to write mock curry chix..
glynn was trying to be funny, so asked din if it was curry chix or chix curry..
haha...
cos according to glynn, 1 of them was supposed to be in mock meat while the other was in real chix meat..
in the end din was so fed up lah...
haha..
den all of us were laughing and laughing...
and there was once where they "tricked" din to take 20 packets of rice,
when they onli needed 8 packets..
both joe and glynn were tellin din to take the rice,
but none of them went to help him..
in the end they didnt even take the 8 packets of rice...
and the ship in charge even called to ask bout the rice..
haha..
oso heard some bad stories regarding chris frm glynn,
and some ridiculous stories...
there was once rumly ordered 20 million loaves of bread...
in the end, chris and nic "jumped" lah..
they even sarcastically said tt gardenia would have to close down all its factories jus to supply bread to us..
20 million bread is more than enuf to support the whole s'pore..
every person can take 5 loaves of bread..
but luckily his numbers mistake are big enough..
otherwise they might realli send the bread over..
den rumly oso ordered 20,000kg of onions,
but luckily supplier didnt send it over..
cos they might nt even have tt much onions to supply..
so in the end rumly was "bandished" frm entering HQ..

saw uncle lim at the store today..
den when he saw me,
he told the QA guy at the store tt " caren lai le"..
haha..
i got so da mian zi ah?
but nonetheless veri happy to see them...
after finished "eating snake", went back to joe's desk le..
chris even asked me where i went and he was shocked to hear tt i went to the store..
haha..
after tt he asked me to do some timetable stuff for him..
he wanted me to drag the lesson plan for 6 mths..
already did 1 but didnt manage to drag it for 6 mths,
in the end did some real ridiculous stuff...
he knows wat to do lah but didnt manage to get past himself,
so asked me to do it..
in the end the timetable was so ridiculous lah...
they can learn cookin vegetables for 5 days a wk, from 0800 to 1800...
wat rubbish rite..
luckily i didnt learn cookin from them sia..
otherwise will die sia..

den chris drove me home today,
together with tony...
miracle tt tony went off at 1730 sharp sia..
frm my 1st day till now, today was the onli day tt tony knocked off sharp..
haha..
den as usual, chris thanked me for help
and tony even said need to treat me again..
and guess wat, i VIOLENTLY object..
haha..
guess i will nt step into foodfare again.. ;]

worked today.. ;]
monday blues..
and becos tmr is mooncake festival,
all of us have mooncakes to bring home...
the mooncakes were baked by the factory,
and most of them were then transported to cui xiang ting in amk hub to sell..
haha..
initially i shouldnt get any mooncakes de,
cos firstly i'm nt a perm staff..
furthermore, i'm jus a part timer,
worse than a temp staff..
and secondly the mooncakes were just nice for the ppl in the office..
but somehow chris managed to give me 1 bag of mooncakes,
with 5 in it.. :]
haha...
den after he left, i heard ppl frm the HR complaining tt chris took some of the mooncakes away,
in the end the numbers dun tally..
haha..
all my fault lor.. =[
at first the bag has onli 4 mooncakes..
den after tt he came back again and put in 1 more mooncake..
haha...

continued with the boring work again today..
and when he popped over to my desk and saw how i did my work,
he was shocked lah..
cos at tt time i happened to look near to the monitor,
den he even purposely waved his hand in front of me to make sure tt i'm still "alive"..
haha..
den he was shocked by the way i do work..
he says although it requires a lot of focus and attention to do the reports,
i should still try nt to face the com too long..
he says later suay suay wear specs den too late le..
he even took off his specs and wanted to "lend" me..
so dots lah..
and he kept calling me "scientist"..
dots lor..
den he oso told joe tt he wanted me to work in DSTA,
so tt it will be easier for them..
after tt he added: "so lame. give you 1 LD."
haha...
he meant to say me lah..
in the end, both i and joe laughed like mad lah..

managed to see glynn today..
still the same..
chris will nt be here tmr, so get to use his laptop.. :]
wonder where i will do my work when there is no available com??
this thur will be my 2nd last day..

went back to foodfare and work again today...
was rather tired cos i onli managed to reach home bout 9 plus last night,
after attending the GPA talk..
the talk was really horrifying lah..
the max pt tt we can get for each module is 5
and if ur average for all the modules are less than 2.0, which is about C,
then u will receive academic warning..
if for 3 consective semsters ur GPA remains at less than 2.0, den u will be kicked out of sch..
and they oso show us some examples..
there is a particular student scoring C, D and F for his modules for 3 semsters...
even though he gets kicked out, he is successfully in appealing..
miraclely he scores all As for his nxt semster but he onli managed to put up his GPA by onli 1 point,
which is bout 2.3+...

so wat does this shows?
it means that we must work hard right from the beginning...
and if i wan to graduate with first class honours,
not only do i have to have GPA of at least 4.5 which is at least all A-,
my final yr project mus obtain at least an A-...
this is SO SO SO SO difficult.. =/
enough bout studies le..
goin mad soon le..

still didnt manage to see glynn today but at least joy is here..
did the same old stuff today but becos chris was in the office,
didnt get to use his laptop..
instead i get to use back my old com cos din has deliveries to make..
haha..
its really troublesome to work part time in foodfare..
firstly, i still need to punch my card even though i am no longer a temp...
but at least i dun need to report to anyone when i arrive or before i leave the office..
think of the good side of it lah..
secondly, i tot that after i finished wat chris instruct me to do, den i can sayonara le..
but no lor..
only today den i know that he will "use" me for 6 wks and wed of every wk..
so i was like "i didnt promise that i will stay so long lor.."
thirdly is regarding my pay..
hai ya..
so pathetic lah..
better nt say bout this le...
got alot of things to whine sia..
those reading on mus be patient..

early in the morning, didnt manage to get onto the bus
so i was late in reporting to work
but prior to that, i informed chris le..
i was thinking whether to tell him if i'm going to be late..
but still msged him cos its gd to be responsible afterall :]
and at least there is someone knowing where you are and why u arent here yet..
so when i reached the office, he passed me the punch card,
and i was having tt sian diao face..
i really have to admit tt i'm a microsoft words idiot sia..
other than simply typing in the words and doing some basic paragraphing, alignment and bulleting,
i know nuts bout microsoft word..
onli after working in foodfare den i get to know microsoft words and excel better..
haha...
and some functions are realli amazing sia..

while i was doin work at my old desk, everything at the desk seems the same,
but just tt it is messier..
haha..
the papers tt i pinned on the board were still there..
those mini notes tt i pasted on the monitor were oso there...
haha..
and coincidentally, joe told tt they are having farewell lunch today again cos 1 of our colleagues is leaving in a week's time..
he says tt i dunno the person de so asked me to have lunch with his lao ban,
and tt is chris lor..
so i was like "ok lor"..
why would a boss want his workers to tag with him..?
he would always lunch with those managers and its rather awkward for me this small fry to tag along lah..
somehow feels tt chris asked him to tell me nt to follow him de
cos before he came to tell me that,
both of them were whispering and purposely speaking in hokkien, knowing that i cant understand..
ARGH..!
or maybe i was thinking too much..
so i carried on with my work and it was lunch time le..
everytime lunch time oso will have people informing me de..
in the past its joe and he will pop over to my desk and ask me to kia..
haha..
den today's its chris..
and i was lunching with him, joy and nic...
while the 3 of us were waiting for nic, chris suddenly throw his car keys on the desk and asked me to drive..
i was realli shocked lah..
he was practically "forcing" me to drive his car lah and i was like " no no no"...
no confidence to drive other people car sia but at the same time glad tt someone has confidence in me..
haha..
at least confident tt i will not bang his car..
haha..
so he was like using ji jiang fa, saying " i no dan to drive his car and what for take license when i dont dare to drive his car."..
so i was like " nah, this trick dont work on me lor.."
but nonetheless he didnt realli force me lah...

after lunch, went back to work again..
but becos din came back, i have to "ban jia"..
so in the end i went to glynn's seat..
i was sitting down, looking at the chunks and chunks of words in the report,
when suddenly chris pop by..
he says tt now tt i have started studying, i look weaker and paler..
den he asked me if studyin is stress?
of cos stress lah..
so much competition..
all elites frm both s'pore and overseas leh..
how to fight with them?
den he oso asked me if i take tonics
and to ask my mother to make herbal drinks for me...
so i say tt my mother makes herbal drinks but becos all of us dun drink it,
she didnt make it anymore..
haha...
everytime she tries to make drinks for us, both i and lao san will have this =X face..
haha..
so bad of us sia..
den he also ask me to go back early and sleep..
so weird lah..
he den tell me to inform him if i wan to go back early...
haha...
i seem so weak meh?
but weird lor..
he sees that i'm so tired and yet keep asking me if i'm free on this day or that day..
and when he ask me to come back to office, i will tell him tt i wan to sleep
den he will reply back tt i am still young..
pls lor..

YEAH..!

SBS IS SO NICE..

they allowed me to drop my korean,

although its over the add drop period...

now i can sleep well le..

ever since i took up korean,

it has been killing me..

its worse than physics lah..

hai yo..

they asked me to email a prof to seek his approval for droppin the elective..

after tt they wanted me to give them reasons..

and didnt expect them to allow me to drop the elective..

cos by right, they will nt allow us to drop the elective after the add drop period

and if you choose to drop it, they will grade it F in ur cert..

luckily for me, they helped me drop the elective,

and allow me to fulfil the requirements again..

yay..

I'M GOIN TO STUDY HARD..!

i have been studyin hard le and now i will be studyin hardER.. :]

sense of achievement ;]

this is another assignment tt the prof asked us to do...

its a polypeptide chain and the prof asked us to identity the amino acid residues tt make up the chain...

ARGH...!
I FEEL SO STRESSED TT I CANT EVEN BREATHE..
ITS SO STRESS TAKING UP KOREAN..
I'M THINKING OF DROPPING IT,
ACTUALLY I'VE ALREADY DECIDED TO DROP IT LE..
but i dunno how to go about it...

its realli nt easy taking up a third language..
why do people make wrong decisions?
till now, i tin the worst decision that i made is to take up korean..
the teacher will jus keep on blabbering on and on..
i tin i'm the slowest one there lah..
most of them seem to be able to catch it..
so i find it both a struggle and torture to cling onto korean..

now my highest priority is to STUDY, not work..
ARGH..!
but only when i work, den i dun feel stress..
how?!
I"M GOING TO GET DEPRESSION AT THIS RATE LE..

today was a NICE GREAT day.. ;]
went back to FOODFARE to help out...
i tot the HR will know about it but tt was nt the case..
so dots lah..
so i was like "illegal immigrant"...

couldnt wake up this morning..
was so tired frm ytd's and mon lessons...
and chris was afraid tt i wouldnt come today tt he called me in the morning to ask me where i was...
haha...
should have asked him to fetch me but i was already waiting for the bus at the bus stop le so dun bother lor...
it feels great to be back in office :]
practically almost everyone that saw me today asked me the same first qn
"why are you here?"..
haha...
when i reached the office, ros was the first one to ask me..
den after tt went into the office to look for chris..
haha..
he still look the same..
still shuai...
haha..
practically the guys in the ops dept all shuai de...
haha..
but all age gap too big le..
the youngest at least 5 yrs difference..
didnt get to see glynn and joy today...
so sad lah..
but saw most of them..
all rather surprised to see me..
even auntie jenny was surprised to see me..
haha..
she was the 2nd to ask me tt qn,
followed by jas and alice..
so they were like crowding round chris desk to ask me...
den chris was like hearing me repeating the same ans again and again that he took a paper and wrote "Today I no lesson"...
haha..
den jas told me that "HR will not be paying me"..
after tt chris says tt he will pay me...
so dots...
nobody know that i will be working part time today,
including tony and joe..
but nic and GM know tt i'm here...
cos i have to help them on some project stuff..
my desk is now currently occupied by din
and there is 1 less computer..
so chris asked me to do the work using the laptop,
while he conducts lessons at lvl 3..
so i was sitting at his desk doin work and helpin him ans calls..

its so nice meeting your old colleagues again...
den joe is still the same as before,
but jus tt he looks more haggard..
was rather shocked when i saw him,
cos he looks older...
but he still likes to stuff me with food..
haha..
he says he was rather bu shuang to see me slightly thinner than before,
so he wants to stuff me with the mooncakes, kuehs and pies..
den i was like "pls lor. i'm getting fatter at those "hidden" places"..
den he asked me if i wan to join them for lunch today cos they are celebrating ros bday at delifrance..
everything was planned le and they were rather worried tt me lunching with them at delifrance will be a bit of a prob cos i'm still a student..
haha..
den joe kept askin if its ok for me to lunch at delifrance
and i assured him tt students can still afford to lunch at delifrance...
so i was like asking him "we having bread for lunch ah?"
he even added in tt if still nt full, can buy more bread at breadtalk..
haha...
but in the end, chris "forced" me to lunch with him,
cos he owe me a treat..
together with the ops manager and GM...
so stressed lah..
he asked me if its fine for me to lunch together with the GM..
den i was like "if i say no, you will chase him away ah?"..
den he gave me tt smirk...
didnt extort a meal from him...
went to a canteen to eat and he treated me fish slice noodles...
back to the office when joe, jas and alice know tt he treat me to fish slice noodles,
they say tt i was rather foolish nt to extort frm him..
haha..
actually its nt the food that matters,
its the person tt you are eating with..

they are once again behind time le...
they yet to do the sales for aug and sept
and even the SO is nt done..
hai...
den they even say morning no need drink coffee, drink beer instead..
den when i asked them why, they say is to numb themselves..
got so bad ah?

didnt manage to fin my work today..
and when i told chris tt i'm nt even halfway done,
he says "good"..
so i was like "huh?"..
den he says so that i can come back on another day again..
so dots lah..
den he even told joe tt he long time no hear me say "so lame"
and he was hao lianing his hp to me..
kept changing phones..
this time round is high class de..
sony ericsson phone,
with circular buttons and 3.2 megapix..

before i left, he asked me when i can come back again...
so i was like hesitating and he asked me to give him a date so that he can arrange a slot for me..
arrange a slot?
so weird ah..
den he oso asked me to fill up a "casusal labour" form..
CASUAL LABOUR?!

he even asked me if i wanted to drive his car home..
so i was telling him "i drive ur car home den after tt drive back here ah?"
haha..
SO LAME... =X

the BLINDED dragon is here to blog..
haha..
and i am bloggin with my eyes partially opened..

went to the polyclinic to see the doctor today..
me alone..
so sad lah..
but after tt lao er joined me,
and she herself oso went to see the doc,
so i was like doin the whole process of registration, waiting to see the doc and queuing for medicine twice..

supposed to eat lunch with my ex boss today,
but as usual somehow he always cannot make it..
he's the one who asked me, den he is oso always the one to cancel it..
hai..
early in the morning he asked me if i'm free to have lunch with him..
i told him tt i'm free but cant have lunch with him cos i got sore eyes..
but he says nvm and asked me to hop into his car and jus go for lunch..
so i agreed lor and tell me tt if it spreads to him,
den its nt my fault lor..
initially was to meet at 11.30..
den it was postponed to 12..
after tt it was postponed to 12.30 to 1300..
and after tt it was cancelled..
used to it le lah..
den he apologised and says its becos of his rubberband life..
after tt i replied "xi huan jiu hao" and he replied back " i'm getting to know him better"..
haha..
of cos lah..
2nd time le lor..
guess nxt time mus kidnap him otherwise there will definitely be things to tie him down de..
he oso said in the msg tt he cant meet me and he owe me 2...
i misread his msg tt he cant meet me is owe it to me..
so i was like rather puzzled and asked him wat was it tt i have done?
he replied, askin me if i had sent the msg to the wrong person..
haha..
so i went to look at his previous msg and realised tt i misread it..
haha..
so pai sei lah..
so i explained to him tt its our dai gou and guess wat he replied?
he says its becos of my blurred vision so he dun blame me..
wah lao..
like tt say me..
but after he says tt, i realised tt i realli do have blur vision..
haha..
those things tt are far are realli slightly blur,
but those near images are okay..
den the doc says i have infected conjunctiva,
and gave me 2 days MC... ;]
but its realli terrible to have sore eyes lah..
eyes cant see well and yet still have to rush for tutorials and read lec notes..
so ke lian.. :[

and i yet to receive my LICENSE..
its already past 2 wks le..
