Today is my 11th driving lesson..
haha.. :]
first time SWEAT in the car despite the air con being on..
haha..
this shows how stressful and difficult tt sub is..
haha..
did reversing and directional changes..
REAALY REAALY VERY DIFFICULT LAH.. :[
have to look here and there..
and if forget they deduct pts..
if mount or strike curb, they deduct pts again..
haha..
every little thing tt u forget to do they oso will deduct pts de..
initially didnt understand wat the intructor is trying to teach me..
den he explain and explain..
finally understand a little le..
den he say tis sub is the top killer for most students,
which i AGREED fully..
haha..
cos its difficult having to look at the front, back and side at the same time,
scared tt the car will hit the curb..
haha..
den he asked me to stop the car when the mirror is above the grass..
den i gave him the blur face cos i dunno wats he trying to say lah..
i reversed the car too backwards and it striked the curb..
haha..
only when the car hit the curb den i understand wat he's trying to say...
haha.. :)
shld let me hit the curb earlier mah..
hai yo..
first time so happy hitting curb..
cos like after hitting the curb den gt the "light"..
haha..
nonetheless still manage to clear tis sub today..
although its a kind of challenge reversing the car..
haha..
maybe shld get another instructor to help me brush up on tis sub..
hopefully nxt week is 111 teaching ba..
cos 103 says tt next wk he's teaching the afternoon shift..Labels: counting down to 2 days.. :]

Today is my 10th driving lesson le..
so fast la..
haha.. :]
didnt make any major mistakes..
haha...
so happy.. :D
even the instructor said tt i was doin fine..
except when turning..
haha..
but nt a major prob..
did lane changing today..
the instructor asked me if i wan to learn fast or well,
so i told him i wanted to learn well..
den completed onli 1 sub today,
but at least its an impt sub,
cos he say tt nt many ppl can do well for this component..
but when turning left, i was too close to this van
and he say like tt deduct 8 pts..
so ridiculous lah..
hai yo..
near curb oso cannot..
near car oso cannot..
realli headache lah..
but luckily it rain only after my lesson..
haha..
escaped the rain cos its realli diff driving in the car..
u cant c and brake well...

Today is my 9th driving lesson..
as well as my final theory test (passed..yay.. :D)..
haha.. :]
gt back the female instructor..
she even say i was nt alert..
hai.. =/
i tin i realli need to reflect le..
i didnt brake properly when the traffic lights turned amber..
so the car was like over the stop line
and was so so so embarrassing lah..
every time die at the traffic lights..
argh..!
i PROMISE to do better the next time..
now my onli weakness lies in the traffic light..
hope can clear it bah..
met bel for lunch today..
at outram..
the temporary chinatown food centre..
spend half an hr walking round the whole of chinatown to look for the sickening food centre..
hai yo..
realli road idiot sia..
haha.. :p
after tt sheltered bel back to her workplace,
while i head back to the driving centre to take my ftt..
gt a call from the job agent..
she say there is a temp admin job frm end of apr to july..
hopefully can gt the job ba..
and its located at amk lah..
rather convenient for me..
cos i might be able to go to the driving centre either before or after work..
haha..
while i was waiting for my theory practice,
i keep looking out for 111..
finally saw him le..
haha..
tin the instructors changed shift weekly..
haha..
so now i tin i know how to do my bookings le..
i tin i am a little crazy over him lah..
haha..
maybe cos he's nt tt strict..
feel more relax driving with him as my instructor..

Today is my 8th driving lesson..
haha.. :]
gt another instructor again..
hai..
i wan back my instructor 111..
haha..
maybe he will be back next wk ba..
pls let me get him..
haha.. =X
today the instructor drove the car for a while and realised tt there is smt wrong with the steering,
so we headed back to the driving centre and changed car..
car 132 is horrible lah..
the accelerator is kind of stuck
and i have to step hard to move it forward..
smt i stepped it too hard
and the car will like jerk forward..
real sickening...
makes me feel tt i am a lousy driver lah..
didnt realli commit any big mistakes today..
haha.. =P
except tt when i wanted to turn left,
i was too focused on the road and didnt notice the traffic light changed le..
so blur lor..
den i oso ALMOST beat the traffic light again..
luckily the instructor oso helped me brake..
but i check all the blind spots today..
haha..
and he even say "good"..
so happy lah..
haha..
den when the lights turn green,
i checked the road first before moving..
and he oso say "good"..
haha..
but at the end of the lesson,
he didnt have much to say bout my mistakes..
unlike 111, who keep saying tt i speed and dun check my blind spot..

Today is my 7th driving lesson..
different instructor for today..
female one somemore..
and it was drizzling today lah..
haha.. :]
gt 9+ yrs of driving exp,
and still say jus started teaching..
haha..
she's nt bad..
taught me lots of things tt the previous instructor didnt tell me..
haha..
she was so surprised tt i gt the same instructor for 5 consecutive lessons,
although i didnt "fix" it..
haha..
den she say "like tt surely can pass TP test de.."
HOPEFULLY BA..
haha..
after today, den i realised tt my driving is nt as good as i tot it used to be..
or maybe changed instructor so didnt realli know her style..
everytime i commit an offence,
she will say out the dermerit pts..
so i tin within 1 yr mus keep within 12 demerit pt is nt tt easy afterall..
haha..
jus like when i made a wide turn which almost crossed the centre line,
she will say "can"..
exceed the centre line deduct 4 pts,
but if turn too fast den mount curb, will deduct 10 pts..
haha..
if during prac test, the car mount curb,
den can say bye bye le..
cos jus 2 more pts and u cant get ur license le..
so strict la..
i oso realise tt male instructors are more lenient than females ones..
haha..:D
den whenn i follow too closely to the vehicle in front,
she will say "can"
den deduct 10 pts lor..
deduct here deduct there,
gt 100 pts oso nt enough lah..
almost kanna the speed trap jus now lor..
the lights suddenly turned amber,
and i cant really stop in time and wanted to think of goin past it..
but luckily i still stopped..
only after i stopped den i saw the speed camera...
PHEW..
lucky me sia..
haha..
otherwise i would have kanna 10 dermerit pts le..
haha..
den cant take my prac test le..
cos the max we can get is 12 dermerit pts..
btw, i "conquer" the handbrake le..
yay.. :D

Today is my 6th driving lesson..
haha.. :D
nt in tip top condition today..
hadnt been sleeping well for the past few days..
even i myself oso dunno y..
haha..
maybe becos no need to work, so nt tired..
or maybe too stressed for the next driving lesson..
haha.. ?_?
today did driving on steep slopes,
and stopping and moving off the slopes..
argh..
i still DUNNO how to control the HANDBRAKE..
so irritating lah..
even the instructor laughed at me..
so he taught me again..
tis time round, i tin i get it le..
hopefully i rmb wat he taught the nxt time..
and the handbrake PLS dun sabo me..
haha..
cos if driving test i cant operate the handbrake,
den i can say bye bye to my license le..
haha..
i wasnt concentrating well today,
or maybe tt was wat the instructor said..
he said i didnt hold onto the steering wheel properly
and it was goin left and right..
haha..
feels like i was drink driving..
but i was slightly better..
haha..
at least he doesnt need to control the steering back for me..
another embarrassing thing..
after moving off the slope,
the instructor asked me to turn left so tt we can drive to the main road
yet, i signalled right and turned right..
haha... =/
so pai sei lah..
only after turning right, den i realised tt he wanted me to turn left..
so retarded..
hai.. =X
if this goes on, i tin he wouldnt want to continue teachin me le..
cos i cant even differentiate right and left..
guessed i m too sleepy today le..
den he pointed out alot of my mistakes today.. (for my own reference de)
1. pull and release handbrake in the correct manner.
2. check blind spots when turning and overtaking.
3. slow down when approaching traffic junctions.
4. close the car door tight and nt hard.
5. hold steering wheel firm.
6. dun make a big turn and cut into the nxt lane ( i dun always do this).
i can even memorise what he told me le..

will improve the nxt lesson de..

Today is my 5th driving lesson...
haha.. :]
learnt how to turn right at a junction,
as well as squeeze btw two narrow poles forward and backward..
haha..
so embarrassing la..
i reversed the vehicle too fast and too back tt in the end, it knocked down the pole..
haha.. =X
before i learnt how to drive the vehicle btw narrow courses,
i was turning round and round the circuit..
den the instructor say " dun drive too well leh, at least go over some curbs leh"
den i looked at him and said "huh?"
so strange lah he..
he should be glad tt i dun mount curb and instead he's "encouraging" me to mount the curb..
haha..
cos he say i was doing well and mus make some mistakes so tt he gt smt to say..
haha..
realli realli weird..
but after tt, he gt lots of stuff to say le..
firstly, i regard myself as a blur and dangerous driver..
haha..
smt i nt sure if i'm stepping on the accelerator or brake..
i wanted to step on the brake but ended up stepping on the accelerator..
and in the end, the instructor have to emergency brake for me..
haha..
so pai sei.. =/
den he still say when there's traffic, i dun stop
but when there's no traffic, i stop..
haha..
its really difficult driving in the circuit cos there r too many people learning le..
at least on the road, there are more spaces for you to drive..
and u can drive faster..
haha.. :]
btw, i finally know how to release the handbrake le..
yay.. :]
cos for the past few times, the instructor was the one who did it for me..
haha..
wheregt driver dunno how to release handbrake de..
so comical lah..
i keep pulling and pulling but yet it wun give way..
haha..
the instructor oso said tt i close the door too hard
and if the window breaks,
i will have to pay for it...
hai..
everything oso mus pay..
sianz...
lets hope tt i dun damage any of their stuff..

Today is my 4th driving lesson.. :]
it was realli realli fun today..
haha.. :P
although i mount the kerb twice..
becos the instructor was talking to me,
so i turned my head and looked at him,
and so kanna distracted den mount the kerb le..
haha..
then he said dun wan to talk to me le otherwise i cant concentrate
but the nxt moment, he started toking again..
haha.. =X
today i went to the road again,
think i saw JJ lin on the road,
but was nt realli sure..
i just managed to get a glance and saw someone familiar
den my instructor says isnt tt JJ lin?
but too late le..
cos i tin he boarded the bus or cab le..
haix..
den he oso says he quite appreciate jun yang,
and at the same time was oso staying near him..
somewhere in that area..
haha..
den he was keeping a lookout for speed cameras on the road cos he says i speed
and if kanna fine, i will have to pay it..
haha..
haven even get license den get fine and demerit pts le..
so pro lor..
haha.. :)
den he oso said that he felt like vomitting,
i tot i was such a bad driver..
haha..
but he say that it wasnt becos of my driving skills..
its smt tt he ate in the canteen earlier on..
scare me lah.. =X
den we oso started toking bout music,
cos we saw JJ lin..
realised that he isnt that "uncle" afterall..
haha..
he oso likes Jay chou, lee hom and gary..
haha..
cos they r realli talents in the entertainment circle..
we r oso a big fan of chen weilian..
he even called and supported him..
haha..
more crazy than me sia.. =D
but he predicted that i like Jolin,
which was like the exact opposite la..
i dun like her but her sad songs r nt tat bad..
i still prefer MAYDAY..
AHHH..
i wan to go to their concert,
but nobody wants to go..
is there anyone who wants to go watch mayday's concert?

Today is my third driving lesson.. :]
haha..
I finally know how to turn le (by the 2nd lesson) ...
haha.. :D
this time round, it was another instructor..
a chinese one..
i asked him how to turn a bend
and he explained to me and showed it to me slow motioned..
and yay.. :)
i can TURN le..
haha..
really cant describe the joy..
haha..
den i went for the final theory trial test today,
and i scored full marks..
haha.. :]
but i had to wait till 3rd april to take the actual test..
so long lah..
i tin by the time i take the test,
i would have forgot most of the stuff le..
but now managed to change to 28 mar..
yay..
less waiting..
today the instructor oso told me that i had a little speeding on some of the roads
and change lanes without checking..
haha..
i tin if i managed to get a driving license, i would be a reckless driver
haha..
cos i dun slow down at a traffic junction,
sometimes forget to check blind spots while turning (all above said by instructor)..
but i still signalled whenever i changed lanes...
which is still nt so bad afterall..
today was my first time on the road and i toured round yck and amk..
went past motorola and presbyterian high,
didnt realise that motorola was actually so near the driving centre..
or maybe it was becos i was driving,
so didnt really notice the walking distance..
haha..
nonetheless, DRIVING IS FUN! :D

Today is my very very first driving lesson :D
initially was very excited about it,
but after that was even more excited..
haha.. :)
the instructor was good and rather crappy.. :]
haha..
he was very patient with me..
even though I dun admit that i am very very slow..
haha..
When he asked me to step onto the accelerator for the first time,
I stepped onto it so hard that I can hear the "vroom" sound..
haha..
and he was so shocked and asked me to step softer..
but somehow i just cant relax my foot..
things went better when i started driving round the circuit..
getting more familarise with the accelerator and the brake
but i still dunno how to TURN!!
argh!!
tat is so irritating la..
either i will exceed the center line or will drive into another lane..
haha..
lastly, the steering wheel is big lah..
my hands so small and yet have to control something big..
everytime i turn the car, i have to turn and turn the steering wheel
and often i am too slow to turn it back
and so the car will "enter" slightly into another lane..
hai..
and the instructor will have to steer it back for me..
afterall this is my first lesson..
and PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT :DD
hope my second lesson will be better..
and my instructor is a good malay guy.. :]
at least he didnt look at his hp when I'm driving
or give me tat look when I cant turn properly..
haha..
hopefully I can pass my practical test once..
HOPEFULLY..
but things are still far..
I just hope that I can abosrb whatever the instructor says
